With a background in finance extending more than two decades, Glenn Peter Willett handles fixed-income sales at Truist Securities in Charlotte, North Carolina. Glenn Peter Willett earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Illinois in Champaign and subsequently pursued an MBA in economics at the University of Chicago. Taking on a role with Bank of America in Charlotte as managing director in the mid-1990s, Mr. Willett managed relationships with various institutional clients. He provided customers with access to trading and research products that amplified portfolio strategic options. Before accepting his present position with Truist Securities in 2021, he was a managing director at Baird for 11 years. Areas of in-depth experience include collateralized loan obligations and various types of securities, including model-driven, asset-backed, and mortgage-backed holdings. A longstanding Chicago Bulls fan, Mr. Willett enjoys playing tennis and golf in his free time and is active with the Illinois Professional Golfers’ Association.
